Elite (Eagle Elite, #1)

Elite (Eagle Elite, #1) - Rachel Van Dyken I'm in love with this book.

Not only the characters are fun and interesting to read about and follow, the story itself is thrilling even if not always that surprising. It's different from other new adult books and it's refreshing.
I laughed several times because some dialogues are hilarious. Trace and Nixon - and Chase too - are such feisty characters that you can't be bored.

I knew I'd enjoy this book because so far I've never been disappointed by this author's novels, but it surprised me.

I can't wait for the sequel. I really hope it'll be published soon because I can't wait to know what happen next. Just the little teaser at the end is driving nuts! ;)

The Bet

The Bet - Rachel Van Dyken Not only did I spent a really good time with this book, but it's also funny, sweet, fast paced and I don't regret reading it!

The characters are all crazy - special shut out for Grandma, I love her - and they made me laugh several times throughout the book. It's good to read a novel like this one, the kind that leaves you with a smile on your face and your heart light once you've read the last page.

I think you're going to love some dialogues!

This Girl (Slammed, #3)

This Girl (Slammed, #3) - Colleen Hoover I'm a big fan of Colleen Hoover so you can already guess that I loved reading this new novel.

I think this book is more for the diehard fans of this series than anything else since the series ends perfectly in Point of Retreat, and even in Slammed, but it's just so sweet to read Will's version of the events. I had a hard time to put it down because like always, Colleen's writing is smooth, real and calls out emotions. It's exactly what I love the most in books.

So Slammed will always be my favourite in the series, I'll always think that it could have been a stand alone, but I'm really glad the author wrote more! And the epilogue is perfect. An amazing last piece to complete the puzzle! ;)

Sweet Peril

Sweet Peril - Wendy Higgins It's not often that I find the second book even better than the first one, but right now that's how I feel.

I couldn't put this sequel down. There is always something happening to the characters or between the characters and it was thrilling from the very start to the end. Which is a real end and not an awful cliffhanger. Thank you, Wnedy! :)

Each and every characters have these little somethings that make you care and want to read more about them all.

I really enjoyed the story, I like where it's going and I can't wait to read the sequel.

If you're looking for a YA in the genre of The Sweet trilogy, then go ahead and buy it. ;)

(I know, I sound like a fan girl but that's because I am.)

Music of the Heart (Runaway Train, #1)

Music of the Heart - Katie Ashley That's it. I'm sure of it. I'm a fan of Katie Ashley!

I told it many times on twitter, Facebook and here in Goodreads. I love to read contemporary romance with rockers. And this novel is no exception.

I laughed, almost cried and I fell for the characters. Abby and Jake are amazing characters, alive and perfect with their flaws. And Jake is a flawed character! Just with him, you're in for one damn roller coaster!

There're everything I love in Music of the Heart and it makes me want to read more all over again. And maybe read the story of some other characters present in Music of the Heart? Who wouldn't like to read more about AJ? ;)

So, congrats Katie Ashley. You wrote an amazing novel filled with funny moments and emotions and showing us how rockers are swoon worthy despite their self-destructive behavior in books. I can't wait for your next novel!

By My Side

By My Side - Stephanie Witter Well, I wrote it so I guess I have to rate it 5 stars...
I hope you will like it.

Losing It (Losing It, #1)

Losing It - Cora Carmack I know, I know... I'm wondering too why I didn't read this one sooner. There's everything I like in Losing It and some more.

I laughed more than I expected to - the scene with Garrick when she leaves her place the night they meet made me laugh like crazy - and as soon as I read the first page I was hooked because of the fresh voice of this story.

The characters are great and I want to know more about them so it's good there will be a book for Cade and another one for Kelsey. I can't wait!

An amazing NA book that'll leave you with a smile, a sigh and a thought. *Where's my Garrick?* ;)

Cora Carmack is an author I know I'll read her next books without a second thought.

Never Too Far

Never Too Far - Abbi Glines I'm biased because I love this author and I loved Fallen Too Far.

So yes, I really had a great time reading Never Too Far but I prefer Fallen Too Far.
Rush is still amazing, Blair is still sweet and caring and a strong character, their relationship is still great to follow but I'm not as crazy about it as I was when I finished Fallen Too Far. I'm always a difficult reader to satisfy with sequels. Though, you really should read it because there's everything you loved in the previous book. And damn it! There're some h-o-t scenes!

But it was too short! I want more or Rush and Blair! ;)

The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, #1)

The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, #1) - Jessica Sorensen That's what I call an emotional read!

I read many great reviews for this novel but had yet to find some real time to read it and I wanted to be in the mood for such a novel. I knew it would be like a punch in the gut, but I didn't expect how strong of a punch it would be. I'm a fan of Ella and Micha by this author, but I really think Callie and Kayden's story is - and will be for a long time - my favorite novel written by Jessica Sorensen.

But this end is a torture! I hate it when a book ends like this and you have to wait so long for the sequel. It's going to kill me!

So you get it, I really recommend it. Read it and don't wait another second!

One last thing. Am I the only one who would love to read Luke's story?

Reasons I Fell for the Funny Fat Friend

Reasons I Fell for the Funny Fat Friend - Cassie Mae, Becca Ann Cute little story fast to read. For once it's from a guy POV and it works well. I had a good time with this story.

Trading Paint (Racing on the Edge, #3)

Trading Paint (Racing on the Edge, #3) - Shey Stahl I red it before the second one because I was told it's better that way. And it is.
It was really sweet to read about the first time they saw each other and how their friendship became more than just a simple friendship. I really enjoyed it.

Happy Hour (Racing on the Edge, #1)

Happy Hour (Racing on the Edge, #1) - Shey Stahl I really had fun reading this one. I laughed and couldn't put it down. But what a cliffhanger!

Torn (Torn, #1)

Torn (Torn, #1) - K.A. Robinson I loved reading this book! But it was so frustrating!

I'm weak, I know, but I can't help it if I always fall for the dark tattooed rocker. Drake is really a great character and I really hope we will see more of his past issues in the next installment.
Logan is really sweet and the perfect guy even if I wasn't rooting for him at all and at times I even wanted to punch him but I would love to read his own story in the future.

So you see, there is a love triangle and it was frustrating but also interesting. I was a little annoyed by Chloe's choices sometimes but that's probably why I devoured this novel so fast. I really cared about the characters and was hooked by their story.

I can't wait to read more about Chloe's mother. I hoped to see more of her in this first book but the end is enough to let me imagine how crazy it's going to be. I love drama!

I'm also praying for a companion novel with Adam and Amber's story. I think it could be just amazing! After all, a story with another badass rocker is always good. ;)

It was a good read and I'm really curious to read the next installment.

Deeper We Fall (Fall and Rise, Book One)

Deeper We Fall - Chelsea M. Cameron Exactly the kind of new adult book I like to read. There're humor, intensity, romance, friendships, heavy subjects and you just enjoy reading about Zan and Lottie but also the secondary characters.

The plot is interesting, different from what you can read in new adult novels and the dialogues are really fun to read. I especially liked to read the little banters between Lottie and Will.

I'm glad there'll be a companion novel with Kathie and Stryker because they need their own stories. And I can't wait to read it!

It was a great read.

One Week Girlfriend (Drew + Fable) (Volume 1)

One Week Girlfriend - Monica Murphy Someone recommended this book on Facebook and I immediately bought it. I didn't have any time to read it earlier but I can tell you one thing. I had to finish it before going to sleep and it ended with me awake at two in the morning! But it was really worth it. :)

Not only I love the characters and their voice but the plot itself was well-built. I liked these little mysteries even if I suspected soon what happened to Drew. But that's the thing, the author played this card perfectly. You suspect what happened but you dread to read the truth and yet you're eager to see it coming. I was on the edge sometimes and at other times I was just enjoying the ride of this intense week. Because it was intense.

I recommend this novel. If you're looking for a book in this genre, don't wait and buy this one. And then you'll have to wait the sequel as eagerly as I am.

Really great book. :)

Knee Deep

Knee Deep - Jolene Perry Jolene gifted me a copy of her novel when I told her I wanted to read her novel. The blurb hooked me right away and as soon as I started the novel, I fell for Ronnie and rooted for Luke. And I hated Shawn right away. To tell you that I felt some strong emotions while reading is not a lie.

Not only the story and characters are well-built, but the subject of the novel is something that makes me very emotional. I love the writing style of Jolene Perry and I can't wait to read her other novels! :)
